John Fitzsimons

John Fitzsimons (b. Dublin) is an Irish contemporary painter working primarily in oil on linen. His practice is concerned with light, atmosphere, and the quiet thresholds of the Irish coastal landscape.

After studying at the National College of Art and Design, he established a studio in Wicklow, where he has worked for the past fifteen years. His paintings have been exhibited regularly in Dublin, London, and New York.
