Studio
Privacy
This is the privacy policy for John Fitzsimons, an independent artist's studio website. It explains what personal information is collected through this site and how it is used.
Enquiries
When you contact the studio via the enquiry form, the name, email address, and message you provide are stored so the studio can respond. This information is used only to reply to your enquiry and is not shared with anyone.
Studio updates
If you subscribe to studio updates, your email address (and optional name) are stored so the studio can send occasional letters about new work and exhibitions — roughly once per quarter. You'll receive a confirmation email; your subscription only becomes active once you click the link inside it.
Every studio update email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, you will not receive any further emails. You can also request complete deletion of your record by emailing studio@johnfitzsimonsartist.ie.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
- We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that profile individual visitors.
- We do not run advertising networks on this site.
- We do not track your reading behaviour inside emails (no tracking pixels).
Service providers
The studio uses a small number of trusted service providers to run the site:
- Supabase stores the database (artworks, enquiries, subscribers) on servers in the European Union.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend sends transactional and update emails.
- Cloudflare provides DNS and email routing.
Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies. They process your data only to provide the services listed above.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information the studio holds about you. To exercise any of these rights, please email studio@johnfitzsimonsartist.ie. Requests will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here. Last updated: May 2026.
